What's On Tap This Weekend - Saturday May 16th (noon-5pm)

Foggy Noggin Brewing's tasting room will be Open Saturday May 16th (Noon-5pm)

This Saturday we release Cream Ale and the last keg of our Batch #1000.

Cream Ale is the ultimate wedding beer, inspired 3 years ago when our very own Stephanie and Lee got married.  Now brewed and released each May to celebrate their Anniversary.

Batch #100 is a Russian Imperial Stout. When you reach a milestone like this, you need to pull out all the stops and go for something really big. That's what we did and you just can't miss out on trying this beast. 11.6% ABV and 100 IBU. When we released the first keg of this in March, the keg blew before the day was over, get in early to make sure you get some.

On Tap: 20 ounce Imperial Pints

Foggy Noggin Brewing House Ale
Oak Barrel Fermented

House Ale
Perhaps the most unique ale on the market. Each 1/2BBL batch is fermented in Hungarian Oak barrels with a perpetual yeast, making each batch unlike any other. Ready to drink now and a good beer to age.

Malts: Maris Otter, Amber, Biscuit, Crystal 45
Hops: Brewers Gold, Fuggles, Goldings

SRM: 11
IBU: 57
ABV: 6.3%

We had a Hungarian Oak barrel made to our specifications, with oak sourced from the Zemplen Forrest - some of the most sought after wood in the world. Using an ale yeast strain yeast that works best when it is able to not only top ferment, but also from all portions of the fermenter - a whole new character is brought to life. Keeping this yeast perpetual, will allow each 1/2BBL batch to be unique and ever-evolving.
