Some beers come with a story—and Abby Milk Stout is one of our favorites.

This beer was originally brewed as a tribute to our granddaughter Abby for her 1st birthday. We wanted to create something special in her honor, and what better way than with a classic style that has stood the test of time?

Milk Stout was first introduced in 1907 by Mackeson Brewery, and it quickly became known for its smooth, nourishing character. Our version aims to capture what we imagine that original beer tasted like when it first appeared over a century ago.

Abby Milk Stout pours dark and inviting, with rich roasted malt character, notes of coffee and chocolate, and a smooth, creamy texture thanks to the addition of lactose. The sweetness is balanced and satisfying, making it an easy-drinking stout despite its depth of flavor.

The original promotional tagline for this style was wonderfully simple:
“Looks good, tastes good and, by golly, it does you good.”

We can’t promise any health benefits—but we can promise a delicious pint.
